In 2017, we chose to inhabit the silence of this village at the foot of Mount Cetona. Here, Studio Hamor was born—a place where daily life becomes the lifeblood of a creative practice nourished by slowness, listening, and wonder.
An open gaze.
Inhabiting this place means re-educating the eyes to a vast horizon, where nothing interrupts the gaze. This daily contact with the infinite is not merely a panorama, but the paradigm of a vision.

Today, the ancient stables of our home welcome the studio. A minimal space, where the simplicity of raw materials and pure rural practicality transform into formal rigor. A few essential tools, entirely dedicated to the truth of analog photography.
The shape of thought..
Designing an identity means carving down to the essential. Between pencil notes and photographic proofs, our creative research rejects ready-made formulas: we study every single trace to give the visions of others an authentic voice and a profound grounding.
The ritual of analog.
The darkroom is the place where our images are physically born. We develop and print by hand, in both black and white and color, rejecting any shortcuts. Choosing an exclusively analog process means finding the balance between technical rigor and the instinctiveness of the gesture: an ancient ritual made of time, light, and artisanal dedication.
Caring for the land.
The vegetable garden requires the same patience as our artistic practice. Tending to the plants and harvesting the fruits among these ancient rocks is a daily ritual of grounding and honesty. A discipline rooted in monastic tradition (hortus conclusus) that trains the mind to respect the time necessary for an idea to be born, grow, and mature.
Traces of time.
Our physical archive is the stratification of lived and projected time. Boxes,
dates, handwritten notes: we do not merely safeguard the past, we preserve a living matter. For Studio Hamor, maintaining an archive means creating an open map to be questioned and reinterpreted, where every trace is the root of a future idea.
A sanctuary of stories.
A private collection of over 4,000 volumes that we safeguard as a treasure trove of stories, images, and knowledge. From photography to spirituality, from art to agriculture and the great classics: this space is a continuous dialogue that nourishes our aesthetic and human education, the deep humus from which we draw every day to cultivate our gaze.
Lo spazio dell’incontro.
Exhibiting our works in Fonte Vetriana means inviting others to share the same slow time from which they were born. Our gallery and studio visits were created for this: to welcome curious eyes and collectors into a space where the image is not merely displayed, but inhabited together.
Living Nature.
The woods at the foot of Mount Cetona are our daily threshold. A place
inhabited by plants, animals, and invisible presences, of which light becomes a natural, vital, and poetic expression. The origin and the purpose of our entire artistic practice.
